A Bird’s Eye View

Ah, spring is in the air! And with spring comes a time for all of us to take a look not only at the newness and change in our lives, but it helps us hit the “reset” button in our lives. Sometimes we just need that simple spring cleaning attitude in our soul too, to help us regain a sense of balance, simplicity and positive outlooks that the dark winter of our life can dampen.

We may not realize it or pay attention when that dark winter of our life comes sweeping across our doorway but we sure recognize it has roosted within us once it is lifted from us. We feel lighter and more vibrant, as if a beautiful rainbow of color has painted our life once again with shades we weren’t aware existed. Not only is that refreshing, but it is fun!

So, opening the door to a fun, new, refreshing season, makes it a time to really take hold of the reins and let your soul race across the landscape of your potential so that you can bring into manifestation the things you have only dreamt of until now.

Bringing your dreams into manifestation has never been easier! And using visualizations as a way to incorporate the Law of Attraction can not only infuse your intention with strong imagery that is easy to recall, it can reinforce the emotional connection you have with what it is you desire to make manifest.

A great place to start is to think of a childhood memory where curiosity and innocence shaped your imagination. For me, I used to see every tree as a playground and sized them up to see how far up into the branches I could climb. Some branches were an armchair while others were a place to stare out at the landscape ahead like a pirate in a crow’s nest. Regardless of what the tree turned into, the fact is, it turned into something creative and wonderful that provided a whole new opportunity for fun and adventure than if I had just seen it as a simple little tree.

So let’s begin with an amazing visualization for you! Can you remember back when nature was a playground and invited you to join in with the limitless magic it provided? Let’s think back to the trees you walked by and connected to as well. In fact, let’s take it another step further. Let’s picture a beautifully perfect tree. This tree has a large trunk and far reaching branches that are inviting you to climb up into. From a different perspective, you will be able to see the world from a brand new perspective. The houses, cars and even side streets just don’t seem as big as they were from the view you had on the ground. In a way, each house, car and side street can been seen as a blockage or obstacle you’re trying to overcome in your life. And the higher you climb, the smaller your obstacles appear.

Overcoming obstacles just takes climbing to a higher awareness to see things from a different point of view in which those obstacles are minimized with less urgency or attachment.

So, picture that tree in front of you; branches and leaves outstretched to greet you. Placing a foot on the trunk and your hand gripped onto a low hanging branch, you hoist yourself up. You’re barely two feet off the ground and yet something has already changed. A little bit of freedom from the ground you were standing on already feels better.

The higher you climb, somehow, the more the sunlight reaches your face and you realize, it didn’t happen because of anyone else’s effort. It was your own.

By the time you reach the highest branches of the tree that will support you, you realize that everything is so much better and different. And that tree is going to keep on growing. Nothing will stop your rise to freedom and new perspectives except you. That ‘s all it takes, is a new perspective from a different vantage point. Even if it’s just another ten feet above the ground you were standing on. A little change makes the biggest difference!
